A visit to the famous Cockscomb Jaguar Reserve is another popular activity. On various jungle trails you may spot different animals, birds, maybe even a Jaguar.

Bird Watching

bullet Almond Beach Belize  Birds of Paradise Tour - The trail down to the Sittee River will take us through pristine rainforest, across several small streams and past giant stands of bamboo. The river is home to many species of birds, so you will want to stop here to observe the proliferation of bird life that abounds in this area including the Scarlet Mascaw.

Much of Monkey River has been declared a Special Conservation Area, with howler monkeys and toucans in the forest, and manatee at the mouth of the river. We'll take you up the Monkey River by boat.

The cave gradually descends into the earth and there are trails which lead you deep inside the cave.
